THROWING-ACCURACY CLINICS · YOUTH BASEBALL & SOFTBALL
HOUSTON AREA
Throw Strikes.
Most missed spots start before the arm moves.
A stride that drifts off line sends the ball off line. Players can’t feel it, and “stay square” doesn’t fix it. Stride Line lets them see it — on every throw.
WHAT WE BRING TO YOUR FIELD
Three pieces of kit. One line.
The Trainer Quirt
A weighted grip end and a white-tipped tail. The tip points at the target only when the throw was right.
The Numbered Target
Five holes on a backstop net. The #10 is the line; the other four are where the ball goes. Players keep score.
The Alignment Post
A crossbar with a marker at its center, set on the stride line between the player and the target.
HOW IT WORKS
Instant feedback, every throw
1
Find the Line
Before each throw the player picks two targets: the marker on the post, and where the ball is going. Line them up, and the stride has a path to follow.
2
See the Drift
Hold the line and the marker stays under the #10. Drift, and it moves the other way — the player sees the mistake before the ball does.
3
Throw the Quirt
Thrown with a fastball grip, the Quirt’s white tip lands pointing at the target — but only if the stride was square and the body stayed over it. Drift, drop the elbow or go sidearm, and the tip disappears.

Day 1 — the line
On the rail with the Trainer Quirt. Find the marker, hold the stride, score on the numbered target.
Day 2 — the ball
Long toss, infield and outfield throws, and arm-slot work from third to first. Same line, real baseball, any distance.

The line is the line. Overhand or three-quarter, baseball or softball, the same feedback works for any player with a season of organized play behind them.
- Every player leaves with a before-and-after throw count
- Your coaches get a handout to keep the drills going
- One price for the group: [YOUR PRICE] per clinic
